You chose to elope for the intimacy and adventure right? So let's not share those private vows in front of a bus full of loud tourists.
If you're looking for something fresh and new that you haven't seen on a dozen influencer's pages, then I'm happy to share some off-grid gems for you to call your own.
Throughout planning we’ll keep it chill with a couple fun calls and a quick questionnaire so I can really get to know you both. This helps me create a custom adventure that’s totally your vibe for the big day!

Salisha was a dream to work with!! She was on top of EVERYTHING! She took the time to help me build a timeline not just for my wedding, But things I needed to get done prior to my wedding as well , making sure my vendors were lined up properly. She was there every step of the way. Her communication skills are amazing! She always got back to me right away. Not to mention, she’s a BOMB Photographer. I love how my photos turned out and would highly recommend her! And definitely will be using her in the future!!
"Salisha is AMAZING! We were looking for a Yosemite elopement photographer to capture our special day and I am beyond grateful that we chose to work with Salisha at Storybook Photography. My husband and I never take photos but she worked her magic and the photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Salisha was such a pleasure to work with, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She really makes you feel like you’ve known her for ages. She’s also a PRO at posing you if you’re not quite sure how to pose. She has such a creative eye and will think up shots that end up turning out amazing. I can't express my gratitude enough."
Not unless you want to! There are a great many gorgeous locations to elope without a difficult trek! Just make sure you let me know if you want to hike or not so we can plan your day around accessibility!

I deliver my photos via private online gallery. Every wedding and portrait packages include access to high quality file downloads for each delivered image, available directly from your gallery. You’ll also be able to order stunning prints and products, such as metal-prints (my personal fav), canvases, albums, and more!

A typical elopement day would start with sharing a cup of coffee together, getting ready and a first look at your lodging, driving to our first location to get some stunning photos, after that we usually plan some fun activities for you to share, like a picnic lunch, enjoying some cocktails, or cutting a small cake. After our activity we can travel to our last location to exchange vows together while the sun-sets. This general outline can be customized in any way. Elopements give you the freedom to do whatever you want together!

Every wedding day is unique, but I generally deliver a minimum of 50 images per hour of photographer coverage. I cull through each frame I've captured to weed out any duplicate images as well as those that don't meet my standards, so you only get the best!

Depending on where your location is, you may or may not need a permit. After you’ve decided where you’re eloping I will research and obtain the permit requirements for that area. It’s basically a document signed by the park office that says you’re allowed to do your ceremony there. Permits are pretty simple to obtain and they help assure privacy for your day while also protecting the land and wildlife.

Of course! You can definitely include members of your family in your elopement plans, as long as they are up for the adventure! I recommend inviting only the people you know will help keep the day’s focus on YOU! Some couples prefer to include a very small group (or no one) at the elopement ceremony and then they plan a reception or party to follow on the date or at a later date. Just keep in mind that some locations may have a maximum guest count.
